L.A. Law

L.A. Law is an American television legal drama series that ran for eight seasons on NBC in September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994. Created by Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher, it comprised lots of Bochco's trademark features including a high number of concurrent storylines , social play and comedy that was offthewall. It reflected the cultural and social ideologies of their 1980s and early 1990s, and a number of the cases featured on the show dealt with Hot Topic problems such as abortion, racism, homosexual rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The series regularly also represented social anxieties between the affluent senior attorney protagonists and their less well-paid qualified staff. The show won 15 Emmy Awards, also was popular with critics and audiences.
