Las Vegas is an American television series broadcast by NBC from September 22, 2003 to February 15, 2008. The show centers on a group of people working at the Montecito Resort & Casino working with issues that arise within the working environment, which range to casino security from parking and restaurant direction. Though NBC transferred the show to Friday nights to 9 PM Eastern/9 PM Central after which to 10 PM Eastern/8 PM Central the series originally aired on Monday nights. The show ended syndication in the United States in July 2013 after a streak of weekday backtoback episodes it was transferred into a graveyard slot machine of 4 - then removed totally from TNT's line up.
The series originally focused around Ed Deline, from being Head of Security a officer who went to becoming President. After his departure from the series in Season 5, Ed's former protégé, former Marine Danny McCoy, became the Montecito President of Operations.
The series ended with a cliff hanger because NBC canceled las-vegas at the offseason following season .
