Leave It to Beaver
Leave It to Beaver is a American television situation comedy about an inquisitive and often naïve boy called Theodore"The Beaver" Cleaver and his own adventures in home, in school, and across his suburban neighborhood. The show starred Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont as the parents of Beaver, June and Ward Cleaver, and Tony Dow as the brother Wally of Beaver. The show has reached an iconic status with the Cleavers exemplifying this mid-20th century's suburban group.
Writers Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher made the show. These pros of radio and early television saw inspiration in the lives, experiences, and conversations of their children to the show's characters, plots, and dialog. Leave It to Beaver is among the first sitcom series. Like tv dramas and sitcoms of the late 1950s and early 1960s, Leave It to Beaver is a glance at middle class American boyhood. In a typical episode Beaver got into some type of trouble, subsequently faced his parents for reprimand and correction. But, neither parent was omniscient. The series revealed that the parents Agree their approach and some episodes were assembled round gaffes.
