Legends of the Hidden Temple
Children's action-adventure show Legends of the Hidden Temple. The show is about a temple with lost treasures guarded by Mayan temple guards. Kirk Fogg hosts and guides the teams, while Dee Bradley Baker voices a talking Olmec Head who "knows the secrets behind each of his Temple's treasures." Six teams of two children compete to acquire an artifact from the Temple by executing stunts and answering history, mythology, and geography questions. One team remains after three elimination rounds to acquire the relic in three minutes and win the big prize. Legends of the Hidden Temple was taped at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. It aired on Nickelodeon from September 11, 1993 through 1995 and until February 28, 1999. Nick GAS and TeenNick showed reruns from 1999-2007. Legends of the Hidden Temple received Best Game Show Special or Series in 1995.
