Lexx

Lexx is a scientific fantasy television series that follows the exploits of a mismatched collection of people onboard the biological spacecraft Lexx. They journey between two realms, encountering planets such as a parody of Earth. The show is a collaboration between Canada and Germany, with sponsorship from Britain's Channel 5. In January2000, the Sci Fi Channel purchased the series from Salter Street Films and began screening versions of Season 2 episodes for US audiences. Salter Street Films, which was eventually acquired by Alliance Atlantis, co-produced Lexx. Lexx broadcast on the Alliance Atlantis-owned Showcase network in Canada. The majority of the series was shot in Halifax and Berlin, with other locations in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia.
