Mad Dogs
Dogs can be actually a black comedy and thriller television set created by Cris Cole that started broadcasting on Sky1 around 10. It is Made by Left Bank Images, and co-produced from Palma Images. The show stars John Simm, Marc Warren, Max Beesley, and Philip Glenister as four long time and middleaged friends getting together to celebrate early retirement of these friend Alvo. However, after Alvo is murdered, the group end up swept up in the area of crime and police corruption.

British Sky Broadcasting commissioned the show, after gaining attention from some networks. Filming occurred on location and took to produce. The main themes are friendship and growing mature. Glenister said it really is about ageing and"getting closer to departure". Photographer David LaChapelle directed three ads . Mad Dogs opened with 1.61 million viewers, the 17th highest rated programme ever for Sky1, and brought positive responses from critics. They noticed similarities using gangster films, more mainly the 2000 film Sexy Beast.
