Mental is a television show produced by Fox's subsidiary Fox Telecolombia, which aired on FOX international channels for Asia, Europe and Latin America in the summer and autumn of 2009, starring Chris Vance and Annabella Sciorra. Mental was executive-produced from Deborah Joy LeVine -- founder of the effective play series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and the Whole Life series The Department, and executive producer of Anyday Now, Dawson's Creek and the CBS series Early Edition -- along with her brother along with writing/producing spouse, Dan LeVine. After its own U.S. debut, it aired in 3-5 additional countries. Fox Latin America aired the first episode as a"Worldwide Premiere" on June 2, 2009. The pilot episode aired to the market on May 26, 2009. 13 episodes were ordered by fox TV Studios. It began production at the Fox Telecolombia manufacturing centers in Bogotá on June 2, 2008.
No actor has been cast as a character and extremely few were throw because of the temperament of this series although the show was filmed in the city of Bogotá in Colombia symbolizing Los Angeles. According to TVWeek, Jacqueline McKenzie, Derek Webster, Nicholas Gonzalez, and Marisa Ramirez were added into the throw of Mental,"likely as perennial figures."
