Back in 2008, it was announced that Minder goes in to production for broadcast in 2009 for a fresh version, although not one of the first cast would show up in the episodes. The show focused on Arthur's nephew played by Shane Richie. The show began broadcast on 4 February 2009. This season, it was announced that no further episodes would be made following reception to the show.
