The autonomous Greek island of Ithaca, 8th century B.C.. The Trojan War was over for ten years, and also the Greeks came home victorious. Only one man is missing: the king. The island's economy is getting worse by the day whilst the realm has been invaded by the many princes of the region, devouring its resources, and persuading Queen Penelope to pick a husband. To postpone her suitors, she promises to choose once she has finished weaving King Laertes' burial shroud. Nightly, but her job is undone by her. Odysseus' son Telemachus does not dare put claim to the throne of his father. His only dream is to sail out to save Odysseus.
