Of Kings and Prophets

An epic saga of faith, betrayal and ambition as told through the resentful prophet Samuel, this King Saul's eyes and the shepherd David--on a collision course. Defend his fledgling nation against barbarous enemy strikes and Saul, one thousand years before Christ, the king of the Israelites, struggles to merge the 12 Israelite tribes. The prophet Samuel relays a message that he has to destroy among the ancient enemies of Israel. However, if Saul defies that message, Samuel prophesies that the Lord pick the following in his place and and he will tear the kingdom of Israel apart. Over time, Saul comes to understand that his best threat won't result from his opponents, but from David, the courthouse.
