Open All Hours
Open All Hours is really a BBC sitcom written by Roy Clarke and starring Ronnie Barker like David Jason and a miserly shop keeper because his nephew who works because his errand boy. It ran for 26 episodes in four series, which premiered in 1976, 1981, 1982 and 1985. The programme developed from a tv pilot broadcast Seven of just one, from Barker's comedy anthology series.
Open All Hours ranked eighth at the 2004 Britain's Best Sitcom poll.
