Out of the Unknown
Is actually a British television science fiction anthology drama series, broadcast in four string between 1971 and 1965 and produced by the BBC. Each incident was a dramatisation of a science fiction short story. Many were adaptations of released stories, although some were written for its sequence.
The initial three years were exclusively science fiction, but that genre was left handed in the last year in favour of stories. A number of episodes were filtered throughout 1970s, as was standard procedure at the moment. A high quantity of episodes continue to be missing but a few do arrive from time to time. Level Seven from show two October 1966 has been returned for the BBC from the writings of a European broadcaster in January 2006.
