POV
POV is a Public Broadcasting Service public television show which features nonfiction films. POV is an initialism for point of perspective.
POV is the showcase on television for documentary films. PBS gifts 1416 POV apps every year, and also the series has premiered more than 300 films to U.S. television audiences as 1988. POV's films have a strong social-issue attention. Recognized directors, such as Terry Zwigoff, Jonathan Demme, Michael Moore, Errol Morris, David and Albert Maysles, Michael Apted, Frederick Wiseman, Marlon Riggs, and Ross McElwee have had workforce screened.
The series has garnered both industry and critical acclaim within its years on television. POV apps have also won major industry awards including three Oscars, 3 2 Emmys, 3 6 Cine Golden Eagles, 1-5 Peabody Awards, 1-1 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards, both the Prix Italia and the Webby Award.
