Rebelde
Rebelde is a Mexican telenovela created by Cris Morena and Created by Televisa. It is a picture of a famed series Rebelde Way accommodated for the Mexican market hence leading to differences in personalities' backgrounds. The series ran for three seasons, the final episode airing in Mexico on June 2, 2006. Rebelde was substituted with Televisa's brand new series Código Postal in June 2006.
The series is set at the Elite Way School, a private boarding school in Mexico City with a major plotline revolving around a set. Sub plots involve the school's faculty as well as the students' parents. 1 signature of the show is that the random usage of English words and phrases employed by fresa characters.
A notable aspect of the series is the fact that the celebrities playing with the band members are themselves at an actual ring termed RBD, and perform the majority of the music found on the show. They've been powerful in their own right, touring and becoming one of the most popular acts in Latin America.
Rebelde began airing March 21, 2005 and ended on December 15, 2006. The show was also transmitted in 65 different countries, including Serbia, Peru, Romania on Acasa TV, Brazil, Spain on Antena 3, Slovenia, Bulgaria and out of September 2009 at Slovakia on TV Doma, at Croatia on Nova TV and in Albania on Vizion Plus.
