Rescue 8

Rescue 8 is really just a syndicated activity drama show around Los Angeles County Fire Department Rescue Squad 8. It was in 1958 and originally ran for 2 seasons together using reruns continued for 10 years afterwards. It starred Jim Davis as fireman Wes Cameron, much afterwards cast as Jock Ewing on the Dallas, and Lang Jeffries as the fireman of CBS Jump Johnson. Nancy Rennick and Mary K. Cleary all appeared in eleven episodes as Patty Johnson and Susan Johnson, both the wife and daughter, respectively of Jump Johnson. Screen Gems made the show, with supervisors Dann Cahn and William Witney. Rescue 8 produced seventy-four half hour episodes. The Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 8 is at 7643 West Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood.
