Robot Wars
Robot Wars has been a game series modelled onto a competition of the identical name. This had been broadcast on BBC 2 from 1998 using its final show broadcast on Channel 5 at 2003 and 2004. Additional show were filmed for certain sectors of the global market, for example two series of Robot Wars Extreme Warriors using U.S. competitions for its TNN system, and just two of Deadly Robot Wars for supply at holland. This UK Robot Wars' fourth show hosted by Joanie Laurer, and has been attracted to the United States on TNN as Robot Wars: Grand Champions at 2002. In 2003, the roboteers formed The Fighting Robot Association and with their associated event organisers, carry on engaging in competitions for new audiences.
The show included teams of amateur and professional roboteers that made their robots to fight each other in both friendly and tournament matches. In addition to fighting one another, that they had in order to avoid the"House Robots", that were not bound by exactly the exact identical weapon or weight limits because of the contestants. Robot Wars has been successful in its own merchandising, and had crowds of 4 thousand.
