Scooby-Doo is a long-running Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? is the first episode of the show. It was made by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, and the first episode aired on September 13, 1969, at 10:30 a.m. EST. It had a total of 25 episodes over two seasons. Its last episode that was shown first-run was in January 1971. The 1969 Scooby Doo, Where Are You! opening and closing sequences were shown at the beginning and end of nine episodes of Scooby-Doo from 1976 to 1978. These episodes were first shown on ABC. The whole "Where Are You!" series from 1976 to 1978 is sometimes sold as the third and fourth seasons of the first series.
