The very first American tv show of Sherlock Holmes experiences aired in syndication in the fall of 1954. Sheldon Reynolds produced the 39 tales and filmed by Guild Films in France, starring Ronald Howard as Holmes and Howard Marion Crawford as Watson. Archie Duncan emerged in many episodes as Inspector Lestrade. Richard Larke, billed as Kenneth Richards, performed Sgt. Wilkins in about fifteen episodes. The show' associate manufacturer was one of the very first women to reach a manufacturing role in a tv show.
