Sophie

Sophie can be a tv sitcom which aired on CBC in January 9, 2008. It celebrities Natalie Brown as Sophie Parker, talent representative and an unmarried single mother. The show is an version of tele-vision de Radio Canada's show Les Hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin. The show was made its own executive manufacturer and by Richard Blaimert is Jocelyn Deschênesthe creative team behind the show. This was the second effort to build an English adaptation of a show subsequent to less successful Rumours of the CBC. In February 2008, it was announced that the show was bought by ABC Family, section of Disney ABC Television Group at the United States. The network signed on an option for the second season of the show, in addition to for the first 13 episodes. On March 27, 2009, the show was cancelled by CBC as a result of poor ratings.
