Steven Seagal: Lawman can be an American reality tv set over the A&E Network which celebrities his duties being performed by actor and martial artist Steven Seagal as a reserve deputy sheriff in Jefferson Parish. It premiered on December 2, 2009. "I Have been employed as an officer at Jefferson Parish for two years under most people's radar", said Seagal in the premiere episode,"The Way of the Gun". "I've decided to work with A&E with this series now, because I really think it's important to show the state all of the beneficial work being realized within Louisiana--to observe the fire and commitment that comes from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office inside this post-Katrina atmosphere." Seagal's recent status of Reserve Deputy Chief is essentially ceremonial.
