The Games
The Games was an mockumentary television Show in Sydney. The show had two seasons of 13 episodes every day, first in 1998 and the second in 2000 and was originally broadcast on the ABC.
'The Games' Star-red satirists John Clarke and Bryan Dawe along with comedian Gina Riley and actor Nicholas Bell. It was composed by John Clarke and Ross Stevenson. The show centred on the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and satirised corruption and cronyism at the movement ineptness from the New South Wales public company, and behavior within politics and the press. An odd feature of the show was the characters shared the same name as the celebrities who played , to enhance the illusion of a movie on the Sydney Games.
