The Guild
The Guild is an American humor webseries written and created . It premiered on July 27, 2007 on YouTube. Seasons two webisodes premiered on Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace, Zune Marketplace, along with MSN Video. The webisodes were later made available on YouTube the state Guild web site, along with iTunes. As stated by Day,'' the business model of Microsoft shifted after season five. Day desired to maintain ownership, so the incident premieres transferred to the YouTube station Geek & sun dry of Day. The webisodes are available via DVD and loading on Hulu along with Netflix.
The show revolves around the lifetime of some gamers' guild, Good's Knights, who play hours of a dream MMORPG video game entitled The Game. The story focuses on Codex, the guild's Priestess, who attempts to lead an ordinary life after one of her guild-mates shows up on her door step.
Joss Whedon credits The Guild among those inspirations for Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Website, which also starred Felicia Day.
The sixth season expired on October 2, 2012 on Geek & sun-dry.
In a telephone interview after the season's end, Felicia Day affirmed that The Guild webseries is complete.
