The Hunger
The Hunger Can Be a television horror anthology series, co-produced from the Canadian pay-TV channel, Telescene Film Group Productions and Scott Free Productions The Movie Network. The Hunger the series does not have any direct storyline or personality connection to the film, though it shares a name with the feature film, also has been made by Jeff Fazio.
Originally shown in the UK on the Sci Fi Channel at the Usa, the series was broadcast from 1997 to 2000, also is organized into two seasons. Each episode was established around an independent narrative. Terence Stamp hosted each episode and has been substituted at the second season by David Bowie. Stories tended to concentrate on themes of desire and self-destructive appetite, with a strong component of erotica. Popular tropes for the stories comprised cannibalism, vampires, sex, and also poison.
