The Jetsons

The Jetsons is a American animated sitcom produced by HannaBarbera, originally airing until 1987 , then after as a portion of this morning programming block known as the Funtastic World of HannaBarbera, from 1962-1963. New episodes were produced from well. It was the Spaceage counterpart of Hanna-Barbera to The Flintstones. Reruns can be seen on Boomerang. While the Flintstones are now living in a universe with machines powered by both birds and dinosaurs, the Jetsons are now living in a utopia of inventions, aliens, holograms, and elaborate robotic contraptions in the year 2062. The show contained 2 4 incidents and aired on Sunday nights with reruns, on ABC beginning September 23, 1962. It was the very first app ever. By comparison, The Flintstones, while manufactured in color, was broadcast in black-and-white for its first 2 seasons. After its run, the show aired for years on Saturday mornings, starting to ABC for the 1963-64 season and in future seasons on CBS and NBC.
