The Last Alaskans
In 1980, the U.S. government banned fresh human occupation in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, a secure place, home to tens of thousands of indigenous animals and pristine terrain spanning roughly the magnitude of South Carolina. Currently, only a handful of families spread across seven cabins are permitted to stay in the refuge. Within over 100 years, all licenses will reach comeback, also there will not be a human presence.
