The Legend of the Blue Sea

How would a mermaid from the Joseon era cope in the bustling metropolis of modern-day Seoul? Shim Chung is a mermaid who, for some reason, finds herself living in the present era. She is apprehended by Heo Joon Jae, a charming but icy con artist who is the doppelganger for Kim Moon, the son of a Joseon Dynasty lord. Heo Joon Jae is the one who catches her. But in the present, Joon Jae is an apprentice of Jo Nam Doo, an experienced con artist who helps Joon Jae hone his skills and become a master con artist. But it's possible that Joon Jae's friend Cha Shi Ah, who works as a researcher at KAIST, is Chung's best chance of making it through this weird new world alive.
