The Love Boat
The Love Boat is an American television series placed on a cruise boat, that aired on the ABC Television Network in September 2 4, 1977, before May 24, 1986. The series surfaced Gavin MacLeod because the ship's captain. It was part of ABC's favorite Saturday night lineup which comprised Fantasy Island until that series ended in 1984.
The 1976 made-for-TV movie on which the series was based was itself based on the nonfiction book The Love Boats by Jeraldine Saunders, a cruise director. Before the show began its run, two more TV movies would follow.
The executive producer for the show was Aaron Spelling, who produced several string from the 1960s into the 1980s.
In 1997, the incident together with segment names"Hidden Treasure","Picture from the Past", and"Ace's Salary" was ranked No. 82 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. The Love Boat ran for 10 seasons.
