The McCarthys

A comedy about a sports-crazed Boston family whose marginally athletically challenged son, Ronny, is chosen by his father to become his helper high school basketball coach, much to the surprise of his qualified siblings. Ronny wants simply to move away, combine the singles scene and look for a partner. Marjorie, his mother is not upset her favourite son is gay, but he wishes to leave his family along with Boston. Ronny's plans change when everybody is stunned by Arthur, his out spoken and politically incorrect father . Touched by his father's offer, Ronny embarks on a future that is very different and he is able to make certain his adoring family, including his own brothers Gerard and Sean along with his sister Jackie, are going to have a very vocal opinion about it.
