The Odd Couple
The Odd Couple is just a tv situation comedy broadcast to March 7, 1975 on ABC from September 2-4, 1970. It stars Tony Randall as Felix Unger and Jack Klugman and has been the very first of several. The series relies upon the drama of the same name, that has been compiled by Neil Simon.
Oscar and felix are two men. Felix is neat and tidy while Oscar is sloppy and casual. They share a Manhattan apartment, and also their lifestyles necessarily lead to leads and conflicts.
In 1997, the episodes"Accounts" and"The Fat Farm" were ranked number 5 and #58 on television Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. The series got three nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series. Its fourth season, from 1973--74, remains probably the latest nominee.
