The PJs
Eddie Murphy, Larry Wilmore, and Steve Tompkins made The PJs, an American stop-motion animated TV show. It showed how people lived in a public housing project in a city. It was based on the Brewster-Douglass projects in Detroit, where Diana Ross and Lily Tomlin used to live. Eddie Murphy was the star of the show, which was made by Imagine Entertainment, which is run by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, The Murphy Company and Will Vinton Studios, Touchstone Television, and Warner Bros. Television. The first season of the show started on Fox on January 10, 1999, right after a football playoff game between divisional conferences. The second episode came out two days later at its usual time on Tuesday night, after King of the Hill.
