The Princess Weiyoung
Li Wei Young was born Princess Feng Xin Er, the third daughter of the Northern Wei Dynasty's proud royalty. Because she was born on a day thought unlucky, Xin Er never truly receives the adoration of her family, yet she has a pure heart and brilliant mind. On a terrible night, in a massacre that rivals few others, the kingdom of Xin Er is decimated. Having escaped with her life, but now being an orphan, Xin Er goes into enemy territory by chance. There, she assumes the name of Li Wei Young, the daughter of a tutor and her savior. Wei Young has difficulty fitting in due to her resentment of the enemy who destroyed her country and her lack of the anticipated feminine graces for her era. She eventually learns to direct her wrath towards people who deserve it and transforms into a kinder person overall since she is both intelligent and morally upright. And it is precisely her intelligence and humanity that attracts her two guys who could not be more dissimilar. Tuoba Jun is the beloved, well-educated, and gentle prince who falls in love with Wei Young. He is favored by everyone, including the king. And vying against him is his younger brother Tuoba Yu, the icy, frightening, and emotionally scarred prince who sincerely desires to dominate the empire and views the brilliant Wei Young as his instrument and his older sibling as his adversary. Wei Young is focused solely on the fact that she was unable to help her people. Can Wei Young possibly avenge her kingdom, given the machinations of these two men and the fact that she lives on enemy territory?
