Transporter: The Series is a Englishlanguage French Canadian Action Adventure television series, spun off from the Transporter film series created by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. It is co-produced by the French Atlantique Productions as well as also the Canadian boutique entertainment firm QVF Inc. in association with broadcast partners M6, RTL, The Movie Network, Movie Central and HBO/Cinemax.
The show follows the events along with concept of the film trilogy, ongoing experiences of Frank Martin, a specialist freelance courier driver for hire who will send anything, anywhere -- no questions asked -- to get the ideal price, and also lifestyles by three"unbreakable" rules, which he constantly breaks. Chris Vance takes over the use of Frank out of Jason Statham and is united by Andrea Osvárt, who plays the best female role within the chain, starring as a former CIA representative and love attraction for Frank, who ignites his missions, and François Berléand, that the only coming actor in the film series, who also reprises his role as Inspector Tarconi.
A dozen episodes were purchased for 2012 using an overall price of $40,000,000, approximately $30.000.000. The series premiered on October 11 and on December 6 in France on M 6. The Canadian premiere was on January 4, 2013 on Super Écran Inch and also HBO Canada. The broadcast started in India on Sony PIX station on January 2013.
