Urban Legends
Urban Legends is just a 30 second 2007 tv series hosted by Michael Allcock. David Hewlett became the host in 2011. In each installment, three legends presented and have been dramatized to the tv audience. The audience would be then to speculate that one or two of the three does work. Each legend has witnesses. Whilst the legend uses real people influenced by the narrative for the one or two fake legends, even the witnesses are actors. Contained in each episode are just two quick quiz-like stories until the commercial breaks which air. Each will start with the number of the myth and its name. The answer to the mini-myth is announced as it previously had as well as also the remaining part of the programming continues. The show originally aired on the Biography Channel at the U.S., History Television in Canada and FX in the United Kingdom at which it had been hosted by Mark Dolan. It has aired in Argentina, New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, Estonia, The Netherlands, Russia, Hungary and Denmark.
The series briefly returned to the Syfy system within an"Original Series" with brand new events starting on Monday April 18, 2011, then moved to the regular time, Fridays at 10. The new episodes followed the exact identical format as the initial but were narrated by Stargate's David Hewlett. The show now works as reruns and Mini marathons on SyFy and Chiller.
