Watership Down
Watership Down is an animated tv series adapted from the novel of the exact identical name by Richard Adams. It was a co-production of all All Time Entertainment of the United Kingdom and Decode Entertainment of Canada, also created by Martin Rosen, the manager of the 1978 feature film adaptation.
Although latter did not broadcast the next string, watership Down aired on YTV in Canada and CITV in the UK from 1999 to 2001, for also three string and 39 episodes. It starred a number of actors, such as Dawn French, Rik Mayall, Phil Jupitus, Jane Horrocks, Stephen Fry, John Hurt, and Richard Briers . Stephen Gately sang a new arrangement of Art Garfunkel's"Bright Eyes", that had been included at the 1978 feature film, whereas Mike Batt and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra contributed a totally new score. On the series, David Greene as well as composer Eric Robertson and Mike Batt were nominated for a Gemini Award for the Best Original Music Score for a Dramatic Series for their job in 2003.
Some incidents by the adaptation were published on VHS and later. In britain, a spot 2 DVD boxset of all three series had been released in October 2005.
