Webster

Webster is in first-run syndication until March 10, 1989 in September 2 1, 1987, and an American situation comedy that aired on ABC in September 16, 1983 until May 8, 1987. Stu Silver made the show. The series stars Emmanuel Lewis at the title role as a boy who, after losing his parents, is adopted by his own NFL-pro god-father, portrayed by Alex Karras, along with his brand new socialite wife, played by Susan Clark. The attention was on how this impulsively couple had to adjust to their new lives and parenthood, however it was that the congenial Webster. The series was created by Georgian Bay Ltd., Emmanuel Lewis Entertainment Enterprises, Inc. and Paramount Television. Much like NBC hit Diff'rent Strokes, a young boy adopted by a white household was featured by Webster.
