World Poker Tour

The World Poker Tour is tv series broadcasting the last table of each tournament along with a series of global poker tournaments. It was started in the United States by attorney/television manufacturer Steven Lipscomb, who served as CEO of WPT Enterprises, the company which commanded the Planet Poker Tour around November 2009. To its event winners, offering bracelets were started by the WPT in 2008. Players who won a name before the release of the WPT Bracelet were awarded one retroactively. For $12,300,000, PartyGaming announced its purchase of this World Poker Tour out of WPTE Back in November 2009.
